The book is very well written, clear and easy to understand, telling of and explaining Advent and how ths time in the Church year prepares mankind for the coming celebration of the birth of our Saviour.This would be a very good teaching tool as well for the confirmation age child as well as the adult reader. .

Faithful Reader

Like other Paul L. Maier books, I found this book informative and faithful. The explanation of the prophesies was a special treat. I liked the prayers at the end of each chapter. For some reason I was moved to tears several times. Maybe it's because what God has done for us that we couldn't do for ourselves is so moving. I want to share this book as a gift to my son-in-law.
